Presented below are a collection of utilities and software. Most are either freeware or shareware. They are available to download elsewhere on the Internet, but for convenience you can download them here.
555 Timer (81k) A very useful program for a very versatile IC.
Kicad An open source schmeatic editor and PCB creator for windows and linux.
PCB PCB is an interactive printed circuit board editor for the X11 window system. This runs on Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris.
TinyCad An open source schematic drawing program for windows. (External Link)
Winscope (64k) A nice windows oscilloscope, click here for an introduction.
Xcircuit Open source schematic, and electrical diagram editor, also can create SPICE netlists. Available for Linux and Windows.

You may use any background or image that you find on this site. Right click over an image or background on this site and choose "save background as" from the context menu. A link is appreciated but not necessary.

Blank IC Templates
These IC templates were created with Open Office. On my IC page I use 18 point Helvetica font to label the pins.
